VEHICLE PREPARATION

The following is a helpful list to help you prepare your vehicle for shipping:

* Be sure your vehicle has no more than 1/4 tank of gas as an extra few gallons add extra weight.

* Be sure your vehicle has been washed before it is picked up. This will allow the carrier to do a thorough inspection.

* Be sure to clean out the interior of your vehicle. During shipping, objects left in the vehicle can shift and damage the interior.

* Be sure to disable your vehicle alarm.

* Be sure to secure or remove any customized features such as spoilers, fog lights, ground effects, antenna, removable luggage racks, removable ski racks, etc. You do not want things sticking out from your vehicle as they may get snapped or dinged.

* Be sure your vehicle is in good shape by checking all the fluids, belts, tire pressure, battery, etc. When transporting from a warm climate to a cold climate, be sure your anti-freeze is adjusted for same.

* Be sure your vehicle is not leaking any fluids. If it is, please advise the carrier so he can load the vehicle where it won’t leak on another vehicle. Most carriers have cell phones with them. You can obtain the number from either the carrier or Nicki’s Transport. You will always be in contact with your vehicle.
